Appreciation Hike: Restoration Project Tour

Don't miss out on our last guided hike of the year!

Thank you for being a friend and supporter of the Trail Conference this year! Join us as we celebrate what your support has helped accomplish on the trails in 2019. This 2.5 mile moderate hike, starting and ending at the Trail Conference Headquarters, will explore trail improvements made at Ramapo Valley County Reservation, including improved access to a scenic waterfall.

During the hike, you can also try on a pair of Merrell Thermo Freeze boots to test out the new innovation Arctic Grip technology for variable winter conditions. A demo ice ramp will be available following the hike to compare your shoe traction to that of the grip technology!

Afterwards, warm up from this guided hike with Merrell’s Hot Cocoa Bar and be sure to view our latest art exhibit, Small Works - Big Birthday, at Trail Conference Headquarters. In this unique show all artworks exhibited will be of a limited size and price (under $99) and is offered as a Fundraiser and Holiday Gift-Giving opportunity for the Trail Conference via its members, volunteers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts. The Trail Conference Store will be open until 830pm for extended holiday shopping hours.

Get In the Giving Season - We will be accepting used gear to support Gear Forward, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring that every child who has a desire to explore the outdoor world has the necessary gear. For every donation received, you will receive a raffle entry to win a free pair of Merrell shoes and also receive a 20% off coupon on any online Merrell product.

Remember: Dress for the conditions, bring a headlamp or flashlight and plenty of water, and wear sturdy shoes.

Want to be the first to hear of our outings? Supporters who give $75 or more annually will receive special invites to our guided and community outings.
