Community Hike: Forest Bathing

Join the Trail Conference and our friends at Merrell to discover what it is to "bathe" in the forest as we guide you through the beautiful Neversink Gorge!

The sounds of the forest, the scent of the trees, the sunlight playing through the leaves, the fresh, clean air - make being with nature feel wonderful. Engulfed in blooming Rhododendrons, this soothing and restorative exploration into the forest, will take in all of the senses the forest has to offer for a euphoric experience.

During the mindful hike, try on a pair of Merrell's Nova or Antora. Built for hiking and running on moderate trails, this protective shoe features shock-absorbing foam cushioning and TrailProtect™ pad for comfort on longer runs over debris and obstacles.

Bring a bag lunch, bug spray and perhaps a small pad to sit on. Some sections will be strenuous - hike difficulty will be moderate to strenuous due to rough ground and slopes. No swimming facilities, please do not bring your bathing suit, but rather a contemplative mind.
