National Trails Day Project with REI & JORBA

Registration is closed for this event
Build your next adventure with REI, JORBA, and the Trail Conference! We’re partnering for a National Trails Day event on Saturday, June 1, to make improvements on the multi-use Crossover Trail at Ringwood State Park in New Jersey.

There will be trail-building activities for every skill level as the hiking and biking communities come together to celebrate our love of adventuring outdoors.

Our day will start promptly at 10 a.m. Trail builders from JORBA and the Trail Conference will share what it takes to build fun, sustainable trails, and then we’ll get to it! We’ll break for a short lunch around noon then continue our good work until 2 p.m. Your trailbuilding efforts will be rewarded with a 2019 REI Stewardship T-shirt!

Please dress for a day of work on the trail—clothes/footwear to get dirty, long sleeves and pants, closed-toe footwear (boots/sneakers), hat, sunglasses, sunblock, bug spray, lunch and snacks for the day, reusable water bottle, and a day pack. Volunteers will be required to wear personal protective equipment, provided by the Trail Conference.
