Invasives Strike Force Crew - Invasives Removal

Registration is closed for this event
Do you enjoy birds, butterflies, and wildflowers? Would you like to help protect them? Come help us remove invasive plants from this beautiful spot in Harriman!

Two volunters pulling mile-a-minute in the forest

Join the Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force as we remove invasive plants from a restoration site in Harriman State park where we've already removed a massive infestation of scotch broom. We want to fully restore this spot and ensure its a wonderful native habitat. But we have lots of work to do. That's why we're working with the Bulkwang Buddhist Temple youth group on this project. This will be an on-going monthly effort.

Anyone can participate. No experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training. You will need to bring leather work gloves and plenty of water. We provide the tools. There is approximately 1/4 mile level surface hike to the worksite from parking.

Please sign-up in advance so that we know how many people are coming and can let you know of any changes of plans.
