Rigging Applications for Trail Work Webinar

Registration is closed for this event
Want to learn more about how trail builders use rigging equipment to move large rocks and logs? Join us to learn how!

Join our staff Trail Builders for an informative discussion about applications of rigging equipment for trail projects.

Topics will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Belay use
  • The principles, design, and operation of highline systems
  • Portable tripods

We encourage you to bring your questions and thoughts about any and all rigging topics!

This webinar is intended to be a continuation of the Rigging Principles for Trail Work webinar we held in November. Haven’t seen the first webinar? No problem! You can still view the recording of our Rigging Principles for Trail Work webinar.

During our first webinar we explored how to safely use and maintain high-lines on a trail crew, including: understanding mechanical advantage, working load limits, winch maintenance, and how to choose the proper rigging system for the job. We highly recommend you watch the first webinar prior to attending, but it is not required.
