Join us on Saturday, April 17th on the beloved, world-class Ashokan Rail Trail to get the trail ready for the spring and summer seasons. We'll walk a few miles of the flat, level rail trail and clear out debris from drainage ditches along the way. It's a great Saturday adventure in the Catskills! Please register to attend this event and we will send meet up details in the confirmation email.* Capacity is limited to 15 volunteers and we will split up into two smaller groups for the work day.
Please come prepared with a mask, gloves, glasses or sunglasses for eye protection, loppers or hand clippers, plenty of water, snacks, long pants, and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Please also familiarize yourself with our COVID-19 Group Volunteering Protocols and be prepared to follow them on the trail.
For volunteers under age 18, please submit a Guardian Consent form to [email protected] prior to the volunteer day or bring the paper form the day of. A parent or guardian must be present for the volunteer day.
