Intro to Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones WorkshopMost hikers don't like to get their feet wet and, when crossing damp or seasonally wet areas, widen the trail by walking around the water. Stepping stones are solution to the problem with the added benefits that they are natural looking and since they don't rot, they don't have to be replaced. In this workshop, learn how to select appropriate rocks, move large rocks using leverage, and place them to be stepping stones. Be a Rock Star for the trails you work on! October 17, 2015 from 9:30-3:30  Bring lunch, plenty of water, work gloves. Level: intermediate
