Your Role in an Outdoor Emergency Second Sundays at Spillian

This workshop is part of the Trail Conference's Second Sundays at Spillian workshop series.   This course is an introduction to how to handle the stuff that you think will “never happen to me” while you are in the woods hiking.  We will review basic principals of how to conduct yourself in an emergency. After discussing these principals we will practice a few scenarios to assess skills.  Additionally we will inform attendees of the resources and opportunities available to advance their knowledge and skill surrounding wilderness emergencies. Make sure to dress appropriately for the outdoor conditions. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.  Please register below so we can maintain an accurate headcount for the event.
