Aquatic Invasive Plant Identification Hydrilla

In this outdoor workshop you will learn how to identify hydrilla, a very aggressive aquatic weed that has recently been found in our region. You will learn how to survey a water body for this weed and report it to NY State DEC.  This workshop is primarily aimed at volunteers who desire to help survey locations in NY but the methods can also be used to check waterbodies in NJ. Exact meeting location will be emailed to you after you register. This workshop is offered through the Lower Hudson Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management.
