Bear Mountain Stone Stair Installation

This course is specifically open and free for those interested in getting involved or continuing being involved with the Bear Mountain Trails Project.     Learn how to build the iconic 5 foot wide stone steps of Bear Mountain!  Students will learn when and how to install stone steps so that they not only reduce erosion but encourage the most use from hikers. Basic rock moving skills using picks, bars and winches will be incorporated into the course with a basic overview of each skill set.
