Advenres in Trail Building

  Come hear tales from the trail from Ama Koenigshof.  Ama will share photos and stories of her  Funny experiences and  amazing adventures in trail building all over the country.  Hear her talk about  starting out as a volunteer with the Cumberland Gap Trail Conference , to her current position managing the award winning Bear Mountain Trails Project, and the exciting stories she has had along the way. Originally from Michigan, Ama has a degree in Non Profit Administration and has maintained, built, and led trail crews for nonprofit organizations in fourteen different states across the US.  She currently is a Trail Builder/Educator with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and manages the Bear Mountain Trails Project, is dean of our Trail University, and supports the Trail Conference’s 1,300 volunteers through consultation, trail design, and skills workshops.
