This course offers practical experience using chainsaws, and teaches safe chainsaw use emphasizing the identification and mitigation of hazards. Attendance priority is given to individuals who were previously registered for the cancelled East Hudson chainsaw course. Students do not need to own a chainsaw to attend, but if you have one please feel free to bring it along.
Students are expected to provide their own safety gear - chaps, 6-point hardhat, leather gloves, leather boots, eye protection, and ear protection.
