USFS Chainsaw Safety Recertification

For previously certified sawyers, this is a one day USFS course. Participants will gain knowledge of and practical experience using chainsaws. Emphasis is on safe chainsaw use and identification and mitigation of hazards. Attendance priority is given to individuals volunteering on NPS lands like the AT. Students do not need to own a chainsaw to attend, but if you have one please feel free to bring it. Registration for this course is by invitation only.
