Advanced Invasive Plant Identification

This workshop teaches volunteers to identify 11 emerging invasive plants listed on the NJ Invasive Species Strike Team's target list and the NY-NJ Trail Conference's Phase 2 list. By learning to identify these emerging invasive plants, volunteers can help spot new occurrences enabling us to eliminate them before they become established.  After completing this course, volunteers may participate in the Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force as trail monitors.No prerequisites however it is recommended that attendees have some familiarity with plant identification.
