Work with the legendary Bob Marshall in Storm King State Park at repairing a trail. Some stone step remediation/installation might be done.
We will be working on the 1779 Trail where it crosses Seven Lakes Drive.
Some side-hilling and wall-building as well as moving rock and placing stepping stones across a wet muddy area. Be prepared to get dirty, bring gloves, long sleeves and pants, bug spray, water, lunch and lots of can-do!
Park at the lot on Seven Lakes Drive between Bear Mountain & West Mountain, near the entrance to the Perkins Memorial Drive. Please call Bob Marshall first, so that he knows how many to expect and can be prepared tool-wise. - Storm King State Park - null
