Trail Crew: Abram Hewitt, Passaic Co., NJ

We'll work to remove pockets of invasion along relatively uninvaded trails. You don't have to know how to identify plants. There is work for every level of physical ability. We supply the tools. Wear sturdy shoes. Bring water, lunch, and work gloves. We'll be mostly working on removing a patch of Wisteria (on our Phase 2 species list - emerging invasives) but also some bittersweet, multiflora rose, and wineberry. We may also get to another trail which has some barberry and burning bush. You'll also see Japanese knotweed along the road at this location, but we won't be treating that. Please RSVP to leader to receive more detailed information like meeting location and directions. - We'll be working on trails in Abram Hewitt State Forest, Passaic Co., Hewitt, NJ. - null
