The Hudson Valley’s only single-day extravaganza of outdoor gear and

of outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and levels who enjoy day-hiking,
backpacking, family camping, kayaking, fly fishing and archery and want to
learn more about the latest gear. Backpacking and family tents will be set up!
Sleeping bags will be on display! Factory reps will be available to fit your pack
and boots. Learn about and try a kayak or fly fishing on our pond! We’ll have
outdoor archery set up, a cross bow to try and our TechnoHunt range is open
all day! All for free. Check out the latest in outdoor clothing withlots of great
deals to be had storewide!
The festival is also a great opportunity to meet the Outdoor Community’s top
manufacturers, who are very well versed in the mountain sports we are
passionate about. There will be representatives from many of the best brands
in our industry such as Osprey, North Face, Marmot, Lowa, Merrell, Black
Diamond, Princeton Tec, Leki, MSR, Thermarest, Orvis, Rio, and more.
Here in the Catskills, there is no shortage of trails that will take your breath
away. If you enjoy panoramic vistas of mountains that go on forever, or
ancient, cascading waterfalls, you are in the right place! There are three
hundred miles of trails in this great park, with terrain that ranges from
easy to very challenging. In addition to all the gear, we have the trail
maps and guides books you will need for a great hike.
Several of our local hiking clubs will be represented as well, including the
Catskill Mountain Club, 3500 Club, and NY/NJ Trail Conference.
If you’ve been thinking about joining a hiking club, these are among the best.
They can advise you on where to hike, as well as stewardship activities you
can take part in.
The tremendous work these organizations do has been the stimulus for many
efforts to promote and support outdoor recreation and improved access to our
Catskill Park. We are also very excited to have a representative from the long
awaited Catskill Interpretive Center, located in Mt Tremper on hand as well!
Be sure to visit with him for details.
So mark your calendars for Saturday, May 14th from 10am-4pm, and join us as
