The Catskill Conservation Corps, the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation invite all volunteers to join us at the 2016 All Volunteer Appreciation Picnic on Sunday August 28th from 10 to 4 at the Maurice D Hinchey Catskill Interpretive Center in Mt. Tremper, NY
This free event is open to all individuals and families who have volunteered in the Catskill Mountains region on trails, lean-tos, fire towers, and other stewardship activities. Members of all volunteeer organizations and individuals who have volunteered directly with the NYSDEC are welcome to attend!
You'll also have an opportunity to tour and view the newly opened Catskill Interpretive Center, of which the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is an operating partner, providing paid staff to help operate the CIC and supporting CIC efforts.
