The Trail Conference introduced a new web infrastructure that, along with a new website, provides features for online management and administration of trails and volunteer data. The features consist of Trails Database, Recording of Volunteer hours and Activities, Reports, and Back-end Reports and Exports of Data. This workshop focuses on the Trails Database features and process.
The online Trails Database provides for the management and administration of trails, segments, volunteer assignments, changes, new trails and segment additions.
This hands-on workshop introduces the new features and walks through the process. Participants will walk away knowing how to update their trails, segments, assign Maintainers and to view their online SMS reports.
- Prerequisite: Website login with appropriate permissions.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their laptop if available.
- Participation is limited to Supervisors and Staff.
- Workshops are conducted by trained volunteers and Technology Committee members
