RPH Cabin Volunteers - Annual Work Weekend + BBQ

Join the RPH Cabin Volunteers for their 20th annual trail work weekend, camp out, and barbeque.

The RPH Cabin Volunteers are working to improve the Appalachian Trail in Putnam and Dutchess County. Join them for their 20th annual work weekend and barbeque. Overnight camping is available.

Proposed projects for the weekend are:

  • Paint and repair the Seth Lyon Memorial Bridge
  • Install new check dams
  • Rebuild wooden walkway
  • Replace rotted water bars
  • Prune back invasive foliage along the trail
  • Step construction
