If you enjoy working outdoors and have a thirst for knowledge, the Megalithic crews would love to meet you. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get out there and have some fun on the trail with us!
This project involves building 5-foot-wide stone stairs all the way up to the top of Bear Mountain—but don't be intimidated by the scale of this project! Over the last 10 years, people of all ages and walks of life have worked together on this crew building over 1,000 stone stairs.
The crew works five days a week, Thursday through Monday, June through October, so there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. If you enjoy working outdoors and learning new skills, the Megalithic Trail Crews are eager to meet you out on the trail. We'll teach you everything you need to know to have a fun, safe day building a trail.
Work trips are led by Trail Conference's on-staff field managers and Conservation Corps members.
