Join the Catskill Conservation Corps (CCC) and Trail Conference volunteers as we remove trash and restore the beauty of Jockey Hill in the Bluestone Wild Forest.
The trip will begin at the trailhead for the Jockey Hill Trails, where we will proceed to the site of an abandoned dump to rehabilitate the forest in this thriving recreational area. The work on the trail will involve heavy lifting, but the CCC will furnish gloves, safety glasses, and any tools required to perform this task!
Meet at the parking area for Jockey Hill Trail, at 08:00 AM sharp! Carpooling is strongly encouraged as parking is limited in the area. This is a two day event, if you are planning to attend only one day we ask that you contact the trip leader to make arrangements.
Please sign-up in advance so that we know how many people are coming and can let you know of any changes in plans.
