Hewitt-Butler Trailhead Closed at Camp Vacamas.
Effective immediately, the Hewitt-Butler Trail trailhead at Camp Vacamas on Macopin Road in West Milford, NJ is CLOSED until further notice.  Parking is no longer allowed, and there is no trail access.  The Hewitt-Butler Trail going south from Otterhole Road/Glenwild Avenue to Osio Rock remains open. Osio Rock is the best viewpoint on trails in the area, and it should be considered the turn-around point for a hike in this area of Norvin Green State Forest.
