Anybody know where to get an orienting compass with the 1:36,000 sacle on thse maps? Standard should be 1:24,000.

The last update was 2012.  Many of your other map updates were ~4 years, so will this one get an update soon?  I'd hate to buy this only to have an update come out right after.

The Kittatinny Trails map set was last printed September 2012, and a new revised edition (7th edition) is expected to be available in June or July of this year.  Our map refresh cycle ranges between 2-4 years for most maps, as this allows us to keep up with constantly changing trails.

For this map set revision, the most significant change will be substantial revision to the trails in Stokes State Forest, where a 17-mile loop trail has been created through a combination of new trail and existing trail and the map will accurately show this new loop trail.

For a list of upcoming maps, we have a Coming Soon section on the front of our online store, so you can also check there periodically to see if any new maps are coming out soon.

Trail Walker says the news K trails Map is available but does not seem to be here.  When will it be available for purchase?   Jim Flynn Long time member

Hello Jim.

The new Kittatinny Trails map is currently due to go to the printer within the next couple weeks, which means it should be available sometime in August.  For the TrailWalker article, we broadly indicated the map would be available in the summer because it was difficult to pin down a more exact timeframe at the time the article was prepared.  I apologize if this caused any confusion and will be more careful about how we word these map announcements in the future.  Please be sure to check back later this summer for a great update to this map set (especially the Stokes area, which you are certainly familiar with), and thank you for your long-time support!
