Determining the number of parks

A park, preserve, or sanctuary owned by a governmental unit, nonprofit, privately (corporation or individual) are generically called a park. A chapter is a park and grouped into sections according to number of miles of trails.

Sometimes it is not easy or even possible to see on the ground where one enity ends and another begins. Hillside Park and Hillside Woods are such an example. Therefore both parks would be included in one chapter and counted as two parks. Other times a small park is located near a larger park. To save space and to include a map, the park is written up and tacked on to the end of a chapter.
