Everyone is welcome to join - beginners and experts alike. Shoot us an email if you're interesting in coming out on this work trip!
We'll be continuing work on the Red Back Trail in Sterling Forest, a multi-use trail for bikes and hikers with some design considerations that we haven't encountered in other projects. We’ll get more practice on our sidehilling skills, as well as a formal introduction to the technique known as turnpiking.
Bring: Sturdy shoes, water, lunch/snacks, and tough clothing appropriate for outdoor work (including gloves and safety glasses if you have them). Raingear and warm layers depending on forecast. Be prepared for some good walking and wholesome outdoor exercise!
