NO HIKER PARKING
rdgee65
As per the Ramapo PD, there is no hiker parking at the equestrian center. There are signs every few feet warning that any hiker cars parked will be towed. I parked on a little cut out on rt 202 a short distance east of the center near some mailboxes.

Re: Can we still park here during COVID?
Jeremy Apgar

We are doing our best to report closures on our Trail Alerts page (https://www.nynjtc.org/news-center/trail-alerts).  The Trail Conference works with nearly 200 different individual park units, and every day with this crisis is a unique kaleidoscope of rules, policies, and public access options.  If you choose to head out, check with the park beforehand to confirm access.

Jova42R
Hi! I was going to take this hike, but I was wondering - can we still park here? Any insight would be much appreciated.

The Shortline bus that goes from Port Authority to Bear Mountain travels along 202 , and will drop you off at the Equestrian Center if you let the driver know. However. i cannot guarantee that the bus will stop for you on the return trip, so it might be a safer option to go to Sloatsburg after visiting Pine Meadow Lake, and catch the bus or train at Sloatsburg.
