Bear Mountain Map provided by the Trail Conference
This free map of a portion of Bear Mountain State Park is provided by the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. It is also available as a free app map on your phone using the Avenza Maps app, so be sure to download it here.
The map is adapted from Harriman-Bear Mountain Trails, a two-map set published by the Trail Conference featuring 230+ miles of marked trails and additional details like elevation contours. It is available in both waterproof/tear-resistant Tyvek print format as well as digital app map format for your phone.
Trails in this park are maintained by Trail Conference volunteers.

Detailed map of Bear Mountain Area
This map, complete with elevation contours, shows the up-to-date configuration of trails on the summit of Bear Mountain and the surrounding area near Bear Mountain Inn. The map can be very useful at this popular location for a loop hike (Major Welch Trail and Appalachian Trail loop) as well as for exploring various interesting places, such as Perkins Tower, outstanding views west of Perkins Tower, and the area between Bear Mountain Inn and the Bear Mountain Bridge.
