Hello Don, My friend and I have enjoyed taking some of your hikes from the Circuit Hikes in Harriman book. We recently had a great day hiking the Dunderberg-Timp Grand Loop. We tried and probably more or less succeeded in doing the "Myles View Option" but we are not certain we were actually on the route you described. We couldn't find any sign of the small rock cairn and we aren't sure we were directly on the grade of the railway, although we were close. We continued on our way and returned to the RD more or less where you indicated we would. We have an Avenza track of the route and are very curious to learn how close we followed it. Are you willing to take a look at our track if we email it to you? Or, if you have an Avenue track, we could take a look at that. My email is [email protected]. Thank you for the book!
