Clearing Storm Debris from the Appalachian Trail
Strong storms last summer and fall caused severe damage along the Appalachian Trail in Sussex County. Officials at the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference say there are dedicated volunteers that manage the trail, but repairs can get expensive. Environment reporter Ed Rodgers files this report from Vernon Township for NJToday.
