Federal grant will help pave way for more Millstone trails

MILLSTONE — The Millstone Trailblazers have received $25,000 in federal recreational trail grant money.

The nonprofit group that formed to combat the destruction of trails in Millstone will use the $25,000 for its Mine Hills Trail Project. The group will be required to provide a 20 percent matching share for the project. The group’s projects are primarily funded through donations, fundraisers and grant awards, according to a press release from the N.J. Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).
