Montclair environmental commission helps blaze Lenape Trail

Body

Those little yellow rectangles you might have seen on telephone poles and on trees in town let you know you are walking the Lenape Trail.

Deb Ellis of the municipal Environmental Commission is helping the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference determine where to put new signage on the Lenape Trail, part of which runs through Mills Reservation in Montclair and Cedar Grove.

But unless you are looking for it, you don't know the trail is there, says Deb Ellis of Montclair's Environmental Commission. Ellis is working with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference (NYNJTC) to mark the trail with bollards, signage and maps.. . .
