Pipeline company responds to West Milford opposition

With almost daily press reports of growing area opposition to the planned extension of the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company (TGP) the gas company has responded to a request from AIM West Milford for a company reaction.

TGP spokesperson Gretchen Krueger responded for the company in an email on Feb. 8.

"The 300 Line project went into service on Nov.1, 2011," said Kruger. "In New Jersey Tennessee, has completed all restoration activities related to the 300 line project in accordance with permits and under the formal agreement with agencies and landowners. Everything has been stabilized and seeded. There is limited growth in some areas due to the time of the year the seeding activities took place."
