National Park Service Gives Tentative Approval to Power Line
A major two-state electrical transmission line route would cross the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area where two utility companies want it, under a "preferred alternative" selected Thursday by the National Park Service.

Environmentalists said the decision puts corporate interests ahead of protecting the environment.
