Volunteers assemble new bridge at Angle Fly Preserve in Somers

The bridge, funded with a $75,000 state grant, will open the way for miles of hiking trail, also to be cleared by volunteers....

It was a cooperative effort including the Friends of Angle Fly Preserve, dozens of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Somers High School students including much of the Cross Country team, the Lions Club, the New York/New Jersey Trail Conference, along with the town's Land Trust and Open Space Committee.
