A hike of three miles takes one through woodlands in varying stages of maturity, wetlands, and open meadows.

Located along the ridge of Sourland Mountain, this 295-acre tract of privately owned land straddles the Hunterdon/Mercer county line. It is the headwaters for Stony Brook, and is protected through easements by the Delaware and Raritan Greenway, Inc. This regional land conservancy is protecting and preserving land along the Delaware and Raritan Canal and its tributary streams
