* Process: gather requirements, prioritize requirements, size implementation, build work plan, implement per plan.
* Gather requirements -- Steo 1: Build tentative starter list of requirements (in random order for now); Step 2: take to committees, staff, board for additional input.

* Discussion of the Join/Renew/Donate and Buy flow. (Josh to join discussion?)

Not working: Having to push shipping button when it is the only option. (Invalidates the credit card info

too.)
Anonymous user: relative easy to turn off. What are side effects?
Join and buy book at same time -- causes problems.
Need to speed up process of getting membership data onto Web.

When Gary marks someone as a member, do they get an email saying they did?

Donate Now, Get Involved/Donate, Go Shopping/Donate -> landing page
Ed want to go back to "Donate Now" from "Make a Donation"
Ed/Jenny to create flow thru pages.

Traffic and statistics. 90% of top 100 pages are old content (2003 & 2004)
Have soft redirects on old home page. No 301 redirects at the moment.
Old trails tree (AT, Long Path, weather) ... 2003 Bear Mt. HOTW is top hit. How are people hitting these pages? Paths to page are redirected but page not. People are getting to that page.
Metadata for high traffic pages needed ... plus metatags for keywords. Doug to create example and Georgette to do others.

Training -- need to lay out who does what and then figure out how to document what needs to be done.
Metadata and metatags. (Doug to create example)

Jenny -- assumes her responsibilities include development areas (donate pages, Google ads)
Web, forums, TW -- strategic oversight.

Ownership of content on Web -- need to have model. Not just Web committee. Ed feels Web committee should own.

Who's going to track ads and sponsorships? Need structure. Also Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Need basic framework for communications.

Ed saw Georgette managing content (TW on steroids) but really need to set up framework within volunteermodel. Ann to take stab at it.

Doug -- do we have filters on content for blog posts? Use Mollom as filter.
Health and Safety page - Walt to work with Doug on getting this working as we want.
