Walt, BIll, Mark, Melissa
A conference call was held at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 and in attendance were Walt, Bill, Mark & Melissa.
Walt commented on the need to upgrade the D6 site before attempting conversion to D7. Items to be done to the D6 site are listed on Bill’s To Do List on Google Docs , but also include:
- Fixing the Views 3 menu’s that don’t look right
- Rooting out Image Assist items
- Activate a module to prune out any “dead wood”
- Test D6 site by looking at Images, Files & Database before trying to convert
It was understood that until we actually convert these test sites we may not know many of the issues still to be corrected. At this time we will create another list or add to the existing list the new problems.
Bill mentioned that the patches made may need to be converted before the trial conversion to D7. This item will be added to the Google Docs list under “Currently known issues”. Below is the link to that To Do List:
