Group pushes to restore historic schoolhouse in Mahwah

MAHWAH - The New Jersey Trail Conference is trying to raise money to save an historic north Jersey schoolhouse.

The Darlington Schoolhouse was built in 1890 and served as a school and community gathering place until the 1940s.

It was then used as a storage facility, and was finally abandoned in the '70s.
