Moving Big Rocks: TU 1138

Workshop Number:
1138

Volunteers moving a large rock.

The brand-new Vista Loop Trail in Ramapo Reservation is almost open, but there's a problem - boulders are blocking part of the route! Come help us as we teach the skills needed to move massive hunks of stone with nothing more than a rock bar, your mind, and your muscles (big muscles not required).

Come prepared with sturdy shoes, long pants, water, lunch, and a willingness to work and learn. We'll provide the rest. If you're available, sign up for the next day's tread and drainage workshop to learn more and finish the work started in this class!
