Catskill 3500 Club - In existence since 1962, the club was founded to recognize hikers who have climbed all 35 of the Catskills peaks over 3500 feet. The club offers hikes most Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, including trail maintenance and conservation activities. It monitors development in the Catskills region that could affect the integrity of the Catskill Park. The club provides significant funds each year for Catskills preservation advocacy. Friends of Angle Fly Preserve -  Angle Fly Preserve is a 654-acre wildlife sanctuary in Somers, Westchester County. The Friends of Angle Fly Preserve is a group of volunteers who build trails at the preserve, maintain facilities,and advocate for land stewardship. The group is overseen by the Somers Land Trust.

Wappinger Greenway Trail Committee - Wappinger Falls, NY (Dutchess County). This group includes three municipalities and several nonprofit groups and maintains a figure-eight trail of about 10 miles around Wappinger Lake and along the Wappinger Creek. The trail includes woods, roads, and sidewalks.
