Volunteer opportunity teaser: 
Want to share your love and knowledge of trails in the Catskills while educating others about the Trail Conference? We are looking for a dedicated volunteer to join us in stewardship!

The Trail Conference is seeking a volunteer with a considerable knowledge of trails in the Catskills to educate the public about our organization, what we do for the trails, and how they can join us! The Catskills Outreach Volunteer will be responsible for maintaining a table at the Woodstock Farm Festival from now until mid-October, and is comfortable with sales and would encourage the use of our original maps. The ideal candidate has a passion for trails and wants to share that passion with others!

Don’t know everything about the Trail Conference? That’s okay! We will teach you everything you need to know to go forth and spread the trail love!

Trail Crew Volunteer | Breakneck Ridge

Give back to Breakneck Ridge! Help restore and rehabilitate the Undercliff Trail in the beautiful Hudson Highlands with the Taconic Crew.

The Trail Conference is working hard to improve the most beloved trails throughout New York and New Jersey, but we need your help! We’re looking for adventure-seekers who aren’t afraid to get a little dirty, enjoy being outdoors, and want to give back. If you want to learn more about how sustainable trails are built, volunteer with our AmeriCorps Conservation Corps Crews! No experience? No problem! We’ll give you all the skills you need to help a safe trail for hikers to enjoy.
