The Conservation Corps Trail Crew plays a critical role in building, maintaining, and restoring miles of trails across the region. Our dedicated crew members work to ensure that trails remain safe, sustainable, and enjoyable for hikers of all levels.

By tackling projects like trail reroutes, drainage improvements, and stonework, the Trail Crew protects the natural landscape while providing access to some of the most breathtaking views in the area.

The Invasives Strike Force plays an essential role in protecting and enhancing our native habitats through regionally strategic invasive species management. This dedicated team targets emerging invasive species populations as well as invasives that encroach on conservation targets, recreation areas, and cultural and historic resources.

Their efforts help preserve our ecosystems’ natural balance, ensuring the long-term health and beauty of our wild spaces.

Welch Trail Education Center

Located in Harriman State Park, the WTEC is where most of the Trail Conference Conservation Corps live. It offers a beautiful lakeside setting with rustic cabins, a communal commercial-grade kitchen, and hot showers after a hard day’s work!
