The Bear Mountain Trails Project: A Trail-Building Masterpiece

With over 2 million visitors per year, the Bear Mountain section of the AT faced severe degradation. To preserve this iconic segment, we led a multi-year, volunteer-driven restoration project:

  • Built sustainable trail structures to prevent erosion

Created an interpretive exhibit showcasing trail-building techniques This project was recognized as one of the top trail-building initiatives in the U.S.
