Trail GPS Inventory and Assessment

    Learn to identify the most common trail structures and points of concern, then use advanced GPS devices to collect data and photographs. This technology and information allows the Trail Conference and its partners to create detailed maps that help with trail assessments and management plans. As a volunteer, data collection is a great way to learn more about trails and a relaxing way to provide valuable information while you hike! Wear your hiking boots and bring water and a bag lunch, along with any other weather-appropriate clothing you feel you may need. We'll provide the rest!
