Volunteer & Staff Engagement Manager

The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is seeking qualified applicants to fill the newly created position of Volunteer & Staff Engagement Manager. This is a salaried, full-time staff position based in our Mahwah, N.J., headquarters. The Trail Conference integrates a unique workforce of paid and unpaid staff to accomplish its mission. The successful candidate will oversee the organization’s efforts to sustain a satisfying and productive work environment for our volunteers (+2,000), as well as paid staff (22) and part-time/seasonal workers (40+).

Finance and Operations Associate

The Finance and Operations Associate is a full-time position reporting to the Trail Conference’s Finance and Operations Manager, with responsibilities covering a variety of internal organizational processes and infrastructure, including finance, human resources, and operations. Applicants should be comfortable working with staff and volunteers in a fast-paced, open work environment while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. The position is based at our headquarters in Mahwah, N.J.

Trail Conference Conservation Corps

The Trail Conference Conservation Corps is still accepting applications for the 2017 season!  If you have a love of the outdoors, a passion for hard work, and a thirst for knowledge, becoming a Trail Conference Conservation Corps Member might be for you. 

Currently there are 5 Trail Crew Member positions available in several locations throughout the Lower Hudson Valley. These are 900 hour positions serving through Nov. 31, 2017.
