Intro to Crew work

  Ever wanted to know what trails crews do? Here's a great opportunity to experience the variety of skills our crews do on trail. Learn to use the techniques and tools to construct and  sustainable hiking trail. Topics covered include site preparation, basic trail terms and concepts, and methods of constructing proper trail drainage and tread. You'll also learn how to construct erosion control devices such as drainage dips, side-hill construction and steps. This is a popular and instructive workshop conducted in the field.
