Bear MountainRigging for Trail Work

This course is specifically for those interested in getting involved in the Bear Mountain Trails Project. High-lines are an extremely efficient way to move large quantities of rock and other objects great distances, thus saving work, maximizing safety, and minimizing construction disturbances. This workshop teaches the student how safely to use and maintain these high-lines on a trail crew. Topics covered include understanding mechanical advantage, winch maintenance, and how to choose the proper rigging system for the job.   Click to learn more about the Bear Mountain Trails Project
