Trail Layout & Design Multi Use Trails

What makes a great and sustainable bike trail? How do we include multiple-user needs, and how do we prevent bikers from using intersecting hiking-only trails? This will be a mainly theoretical and practical excercise to gain a better understanding of multi-use trails in our area. We will not be flagging a trail but will hike a stretch of trail and off-trail routes for this workshop. .
