Bear Mountain Rigging for Trail Work

High-lines are an extremely efficient way to move large quantities of rock and other objects great distances, thus saving work, maximizing safety, and minimizing construction disturbances. This workshop teaches the student how safely to use and maintain these high-lines on a trail crew. Students will also learn how to set up a basic drag line, as well as when each rigging system is appropriate to use. This course is geared toward the work on the Bear Mountain Trails Project and will focus on basic operation and safety
